Edward Street Hostel is a voluntary organisation which provides, shelter accommodation, care, support, training and a positive future for homeless and other socially excluded and marginalised groups.
The organisation is built up of 5 projects:
Edward Street: No. 21 and No 32, which are 2 homeless accommodation shelters in Portadown each with various levels of independency and support services based on the service users needs that are assessed on admittance and stay.
No. 49: 11 semi-independent flats also in the Portadown area which are designed as a move on option for service users to help gain the essential skills and confidence of living independently before maintaining their own home.
Linen Court: A homeless sheltered and semi-independent flats based in Armagh with various levels of independency and support services based on the service users needs that are assessed on admittance and stay.
Key 2 Project: A project which aims to enhance the quality of life changes for those in our community who may be socially excluded and to raise awareness and promote social inclusion in the wider community through a wealth of support and learning opportunities.
Floating Support project: A service which helps 16-25 year olds move into and maintain their own accommodation by offering support and guidance based on their needs.
